Three busy days presenting FSC next to bbi Wood Products at the BuildNZ Show
Are you specifying FSC certified timber?
More than 6,000 visitors, 270 fascinating exhibits, 20 incredible seminars: from June 23 to 25 we spent three busy days at the BuilNZ Designex Show explaining what the FSC logo means next to bbi Wood Products.
"It was a great show! We realised that many architects already specify FSC certified timber and are looking for new suppliers offering sustainable options", explains Cyrielle Durand, BDM at FSC NZ. Sadly, a few timber merchants promote their products as sourced from responsible forests without being able to provide evidences, "our role at FSC is to educate people to make sure they are able to identify certified products through invoices for instance and we encourage Certificate Holders to do the same for more impact."
Among the five plywood ranges, bbi's FSC certified Redline was definitely #1 and got a huge interest from visitors stopping at our stand, check it out here!
“We are really excited with some of our new FSC products such as Redline plywood and our new FSC kwila timber decking, post and beam range of products. We hope that more architects, draughtsmen and developers specify these products to create demand for these options. We appreciate the work that FSC is doing to encourage the use of these products in the market.” Says Rowe McGregor sales and marketing manager of bbi Wood Products.
